General

Owner-operators of businesses up to $10M in revenue, including early-stage and sub-$1M businesses that most financial firms won't take on. If you're running a real business and making financial decisions without CFO-level guidance, Stratovus was built for you.

Stratovus serves ambitious business owners typically with revenues up to $10 million. Clients include established businesses, growing companies ready to scale, and owners who want more than basic accounting—they want disciplined strategy, better decision-making, and an experienced finance partner for the long run.

A bookkeeper records what happened. A CPA files your taxes. Neither one tells you whether you can afford to hire, when to raise capital, or where your business is leaking money. Stratovus does. You get forward-looking financial strategy, direct access to Dan, and a vetted network of accounting, tax, and legal professionals executing behind him.

Engagement & Pricing

All engagements include a one-time onboarding fee of $450. It covers the initial assessment of your financial records, system setup, and the work required to get your engagement structured and running. It applies to both Stratovus CFO and Stratovus Advisory and is billed once at the start of your engagement.

Stratovus CFO is priced by service tier. Stratovus Advisory engagements are quoted upfront after an initial assessment. All engagements include a one-time $450 onboarding fee. No surprises, no open-ended billing. Schedule a call and we'll scope your engagement before any work begins.

No long-term contracts. Stratovus CFO runs month-to-month and is cancellable anytime with 30 days notice. When an engagement begins with a Finance Reset, a 2-month minimum applies — both months billed at your standard monthly rate. Stratovus Advisory is scoped and priced upfront with no ongoing commitment required.

Stratovus CFO covers accounting oversight, financial planning and strategy, and tax readiness on an ongoing monthly basis. Stratovus Advisory cover specific needs including financial modeling, cash flow planning, capital raise support, business efficiency reviews, and exit prep. Both tracks are supported by a vetted network of accounting, tax, and legal professionals when the work requires it.

Onboarding & Process

Most engagements start within one to two weeks of your initial call. If your situation is time-sensitive, let us know and we'll structure the timeline around it.

Financial records, accounting software access, and relevant business documents. We walk you through exactly what's needed during onboarding through our secure client portal, so nothing falls through the cracks and the lift on your end stays minimal.

Most clients meet monthly, with more frequent check-ins depending on their service tier and what's happening in the business. Outside of scheduled meetings, Dan is directly accessible for check-ins, planning sessions, and urgent issues.

Stratovus CFO

Stratovus CFO is Stratovus's ongoing financial leadership service. It covers the three core areas every growing business depends on most — Accounting Oversight and Reporting, Tax Readiness and Compliance Support, and Financial Planning and Strategy — delivered through one consistent relationship.

Stratovus CFO covers three service areas: Accounting Oversight and Reporting, Tax Readiness and Compliance Support, and Financial Planning and Strategy. Each can be engaged individually or as a full bundle. The level of support within each service is determined by your tier and scoped during your initial assessment.

Essentials is for businesses building their financial foundation. Growth is for businesses that have momentum and need a CFO actively involved in where it goes. Enterprise is for businesses where the complexity of the operation or the decisions ahead requires full CFO engagement.

Tier placement is determined during your initial discovery session. Revenue is one factor, but complexity, financial gaps, and the decisions ahead carry more weight. If you're unsure where you land, a discovery call will give you a direct answer.

Yes. Each of three core services built into Stratovus CFO—Accounting Oversight and Reporting, Tax Readiness and Compliance Support, andFinancial Planning and Strategy—can be engaged individually or in combination. Most clients start with the full bundle because the services are designed to work together, but the engagement is scoped to fit where your business is today.

Yes. As your business grows or your needs change, your tier can be adjusted.

If your records are incomplete, inconsistent, or have never been properly organized, a Finance Reset is required before ongoing CFO support begins. The Finance Reset is billed at your standard monthly rate, and a 2-month minimum engagement applies. Once your books are clean, Stratovus CFO support begins on the same terms as any other engagement.

Accounting Oversight & Reporting

No. Stratovus works alongside your existing bookkeeper or accountant, not in place of them. We provide the CFO-level strategy and oversight your current team isn't structured to deliver. If gaps exist in your current accounting setup, we'll identify them and help you address them — but our role is financial leadership, not bookkeeping.

We work with all major small business accounting platforms, including QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Sage. If you use other software, let us know—most systems can be integrated into our workflow.

Tax Readiness & Compliance Support

No. Stratovus does not file or prepare taxes. What we do is keep your financials tax-ready year round so your tax preparer has everything they need when it matters. Our tax partner reviews your file, identifies opportunities, and flags issues before they become problems. You get better tax outcomes without the last-minute scramble.

Yes. The entity structure you operate under affects your taxes, your liability, and your ability to raise capital or sell. Stratovus guides you through the decision based on your goals and current situation, backed by our vetted network of accounting, tax, and legal professionals to make sure the recommendation holds up financially and legally.

Financial Planning & Strategy

Can you see where your cash will be in 90 days? Do you know which parts of your business are actually profitable? Are you making hiring, pricing, and growth decisions with real numbers behind them? That's what Financial Planning and Strategy delivers. A financial plan built around where your business is today and where you're taking it, with forecasting, profitability analysis, and strategic guidance on the decisions in front of you.

For most businesses up to $10M in revenue, yes. A full-time controller or finance director runs $100,000 to $150,000 or more per year. Stratovus gives you that same level of financial leadership at a fraction of that cost, without the overhead of a full-time hire.

That's a good problem to have, and we plan for it. If your business grows to the point where a full-time CFO or finance team makes sense, Stratovus helps you structure that transition, define the role, and get the right person in place. You won't be starting from scratch because the financial foundation will already be built.
